Greetings to everyone! New Thought Community will step into Spring at their Annual Spring Dance & Silent Auction on May 19th, 2012 at 6:30pm. We will start with our Potluck. Bring your favorite food.

We are located at 2060 N Winery #101, Fresno. Corner of Yale & Winery. Contact Rev Lilly D. Murray for more information on this event or to provide a donation for the auction at 454-1005.. No item is too big or too small. Your donations are tax deductible.

Interfaith Alliance National Day of Prayer Service: “One Nation, Many Faiths.” This year’s event will be at the Newman Center, located on Barstow between Cedar and First. Featuring Rev. Lilly Dale Murray and the New Thought Community House Band. This annual event is a unifying force for good in Fresno and is always beautiful and educational. Come and play with us!

Join us for our “Drumming for Peace” community Yard Sale & Craft Fair fundraiser this Saturday, April 14th.

Located one block north of McKinley & Winery in the parking lot. Help us raise the funds to build a community peace drum. Arts, crafts, holistic healing, massage, reiki, nutritional counselling, giant yard sale, music, drumming, food, music and a bounce house for the kids. Lots of vendors. Lots of good stuff.

The NTC COMMUNITY DRUMKEEPERS PROJECT

Our Community Drumkeepers Project Welcomes all experience levels of drummers, dancers, healers, teachers and spiritual seekers who are called by the drum to take a more active part in strengthening the Heartbeat of our Community. Together we will construct a Community “Mother” Drums and initiate and train the new Drum Keepers into the DRUM FOR CHANGE global network. We will to gather our hearts power in these potent times. We will awaken the Power of our Voice with Songs for Intention, Power, Healing, Manifestation, and Inspiration.
We will receive and give Shamanic Healing and Attunements with Drums and Rattles. Illuminate your Soul thru Shamanic Healing Methods and Sacred Space. We will learn Community Drum protocol and drum patterns and songs. Reclaim Your Authentic Self with Animal Medicine and The DRUM DANCE PORTAL CEREMONY. Thank you and Blessings to all.

SCIENCE OF MIND 102 CLASSES STARTING @ NTC Jan 28th & 29th

Greetings everyone!

It’s 2012 and NTC is once again starting our Science of Mind classes. This session will be Science of Mind 102. Teachers are ready to make things happen in class.

This weekend Jan 28th and 29th. Saturday’s class will start this Saturday – Jan 28th at 9am with Rev. Anna Lopez and Gary Styer.

Sunday’s class will start at 12 noon with Louie Moller and Mirtha Koder.

Science of Mind 102 consists of: THE NATURE OF EFFECTIVE PRAYER

The Nature of Effective Prayer is designed to give the student a thorough understanding of the nature and practice of affirmative prayer. SOM 102 incorporates exercises that develop the student’s understanding of how to pray effectively for themselves. Participants practice by writing spiritual mind treatments. This course covers pages 63-83 in The Science of Mind textbook.

Greetings to all! Please join us every Thursday night at New Thought Community for our weekly spiritual gatherings.

Here is what we have going on:
1st Thursday of the Month @ 6pm is REIKI SHARE. What is Reiki? Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. We usually have 3 or 4 Reiki Practitioners that night. If you have stress & need relaxation, the Practitioners can work on you to help you release.
2nd Thursday of the Month @6:30pm is DRUM CIRCLE. What is a Drum Circle? We all gather together and play the hand drums. Drums will vary in size. It can include people of all ages. The main objective is to share rhythm and get in tune with each other and themselves. To form a group consciousness.
3rd Thursday of the Month @ 6pm is Movement/Dance/Craft. We may do Yoga, Brainwave Vibration Movement, Discovering Spirit through dance, jewelry making, sewing projects depends on what is decided when we meet.
4th Thursday of the Month @ 7pm is Meditation. What is Meditation? Meditation can lead to a state of consciousness that brings serenity, clarity, and bliss.

Monthly METAPHYSICAL BIBLE CLASS with Rev Connie 1/21/12 9am to 1pm

Hi everyone, Its that time again! We have a Monthly Metaphysical Bible Class starting Saturday, 1/21/12 with Rev Connie Treis. Time is 9am to 1pm. Held at Centre for Harmony next door to the church.

During the 1st class on Saturday the remaining monthly classes will be determined. Taking this class will help your Spiritual growth and will help you have a better understanding of the Bible and its meaning.

There is a fee for the class.

Greetings to everyone! So glad you are reading this text. New Thought Community will be having a BOOK EXCHANGE this Sunday at 10am. Feel free to bring Kids books as well.

I know that some of us as Avid readers have a tendancy to horde books, well this is your change to get rid of them. Remember this is a good way to clean your bookshelves.

Book Exchanges are also good for the Environment. PLUS for every 24 books that are swapped or exchanged WE save ONE TREE.. Yeah! Let’s participate in this great idea and make it happen.

JOIN US & let’s get together as ONE for our SUMMER SOLSTICE DRUMMING CIRCLE @ NTC on Tuesday, June 21st, 2011 at 6:30pm to 7:30 pm. Don’t MISS OUT on this awesome experience.

Our Drum Circle this evening will be to celebrate the Summer Solstice obviously. But, we usually try to have at least One Drumming Cirlce per quarter.
