At  New Thought Community, we are committed to Loving, Inspiring and Healing. On that note here is an FYI . We are having a Healing Service  starting on Sunday Aug 15,2010 AND every Sunday thereafter from 9 am to 9:30 am , at Centre for Harmony , Suite # 102 - (next door to our Church).

Come and Experience OUR different Healing Modalities. The Practitioners that will be present on Sunday mornings will be Rev Lilly Dale Murray , Rachel Frauenholz, Cynthia Helvey, Rev Connie Treis , Dr. Ed Ortiz-Nance, Mary Ortiz-Nance, Rev Anna Lopez & Mirtha Koder. NOT all Practitioners will be Present every Sunday.

Rev Lilly and Mirtha  will be performing Deeksha (Oneness Blessings). What is Deeksha? It is the Transfer of Divine Energy. The Giver places their hands on the Recipient for 3 mins. Deeksha removes fear, stress & separation. It promotes the feeling of ONENESS.

Rachel Frauenholz will be doing Reiki sessions. What is Reiki? It is an ancient Japanese healing treatment. The Practitioners puts their hands above the energy centers (Chakras) on the body and let the Universal Life Energy flow through him/her out their palms into the recipient. Reiki can accelerate the healing of physical problems.

Cynthia Helvey  will be doing Theta-Healing. What is Theta Healing? It is a technique that teaches how to put to use our natural intuition, relying upon unconditional love of God to do the actual “work” of healing.

Rev. Connie Treis  will be doing Craniosacral Therapy. What is Craniosacral Therapy? It  involves the gentle massage of bones in the skull (including the face and mouth), spine, and pelvis to ease stress in the body and improve physical movement.

Mary Ortiz-Nance  will be doing a type of Acupuncture called Aurieular. Has to do with the Ear and this type of Acupunture promotes relief of PMS, helps insomnia, and helps you relax.

Dr. Edwyn Ortiz-Nance, Psy. D will be doing Audio Visual which is adjusting your Brain Waves. This procedure calms the mind and helps people with ADHD and Fibromyalgia.

Mary Ortiz-Nance- Is a graduate of California State Univ/Bakersfield where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She obtained her MS degree in Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional  Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. She practices Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in two cities in the Valley, Fresno & Visalia.  Mary’s specialty is treating pain , womens health issues, respiratory disorders such as Asthma & Allergies as well as many other conditions. She is also trained in the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System. Thank you.

Dr. Edward Ortiz-Nance, PhD - Is a Clinical Psycologist at Centre for Harmony. His focus is on family as well as its individual members.  He rec’d his Masters in Organizational Behavior and his Masters and Doctorite in Psychology w/an emphasis in Cross Cultural Psychology and Neuro Psychology from Alliant Int’l University. Post Doctoral training Infant and Preschool mental health and training in several neuro therapies (Neuro feedback - Audio Visual Entertainment (AVE) and Cranio-electro stimulation (CES).
