Spiritual Mind Treatment can also be called AFFIRMATIVE PRAYER, SCIENTIFIC PRAYER OR PRAYER TREATMENT.

The Power of Prayer has been known to Humanity since the beginning of time..

Spiritual Mind Treatment was first used by our Dr. Ernest Holmes, founder of Religious Science and Author of The Science of Mind.  Dr. Ernest Holmes taught the following about Prayer Treatment:

Prayer, whatever form is used, does nothing to God.  It actually brings the one praying to a “realization” of God, a realization that all is well and that he/she is not alone in dealing with the situation.  This realization in itself does the “healing.”

He also said that there is a scientific reasoning underlying all prayer and that through this process of reasoning, we are treating our own mind about the subject our prayer.

Prayer Treatment consists of 5 steps:

Step 1 RECOGNITION:  GOD IS, Love, Spirit, Power, Energy, the creative principle of ALL life, Intelligence. Your awareness of THIS will begin “treating your mind.”  This is reminding yourself that THIS is what God IS.

Step 2 UNIFICATION: The recognition of your ONENESS with GOD, i.e. I am ONE with God, I am what God is.

Step 3 REALIZATION/DECLARATION: This is where you realize what you are wanting & needing and declare that YOU already have IT.  You speak your specific intention, purpose. i.e.; I have Prosperity, Abundance, Excellent Health, Perfect Relationship, etc.

Step 4 THANKSGIVING/GRATITUDE:  Giving thanks and acceptance of the IDEA of your declaration. You are giving thanks for the perfect idea of your desire already existing in Mind.

Step 5 RELEASE (final step): This means that you know your word or intention has been spoken and your part in this process is complete, i.e.; I release these words into the Law of Mind, into the Universe with the knowing that it’s already so, and so it is.  Thank you God.

The Children’s Church at NTC is currently in need of 2 Sunday School teachers.  The job itself is a volunteer position.  This job is a VERY satisfying one, believe me.

As a Sunday School teacher, we know that we are helping to enhance the New Thought teaching to our Children.  And please remember that children are the future of our world.

What could be more satisfying than knowing that one of us helped boost our kids’ self esteem & enhance the power of thought in them.  Wow!

Also, for those of you that might want to volunteer and feel you don’t have the experience, there are several of us that will sit with you during the lesson, that way you’ll get hands on training from us.  Please help!

It is such a pleasure and an honor to have this wonderful lady (Carol Ann) as part of our NTC Band.  She is a great vocalist always.  Her voice is outstanding.

She has demostrated to NTC that she is a great multi-tasker.  Just recently she has completed 2 very necessary tasks at NTC.

1.  Put a number of our songs in a book format for us to be able to use on Sunday mornings to sing along with the NTC Band.

2.  Organized all of the music that the NTC Band uses into file folders for easy access and preservation.

A BIG “Thank You” & a Yeah! goes out to her.  We absolutely Love you very much.

What is THETA HEALING?

It is a technique that teaches how to put to use our natural intuition, relying upon unconditional love of Creator Of All That Is to do the actual “work”.  By changing your brain wave cycle to include the “Theta” state, you can actually watch the Creator Of All That Is create instantaneous physical and emotional healing.

We have Classes on Basic Theta Healing at our facility on a quarterly basis.  The Insrtructor is Cynthia Healvey.  She is a Certified Theta Healing Practitioner and Instructor of Basic and Advanced DNA.

During 3rd Quarter of 2009, we were blessed with a gift, an idea & the opportunity from Mr. Gerry Nickerson and Ms. Mary Winans of selling these Snap Cards as a Fundraiser for our Church.

These cards are $5.00 each and have numerous discount and free food coupons for many businesses here in Fresno and Visalia.  The good and services offered are quite varied: there is an offer for free car servicing, a facial for only $25.00, limousine service at a discount and more!

Businesses that are on the Snap card include: Subway, Tacos Marquitos, Shadowbrook Floral, Essentials Hair Studio, Joe’s Steakhouse & Grill, Whitie’s Pet Shop, Discount Tire Centers, Diamond Star Limo Serv, Marie Callendars, Marble Slab, The Pita Pit, The Grape Tray, Takumi, Doug Out Cookies, Tomo’s Japanese Restaurant, Long Island Bar & Grill and QN4U BBQ House.

A big THANK YOU goes out to Ms. Dana Peterson, who sold $750.00 worth of these cards - a real boon to our Children’s Fund!!  Awesome, Dana - we are so grateful for you!

This is an amazing opportunity for ALL of us to be able to network with people in the Fresno area via offering this little fundraiser card.  It is a really valuable little item, well worth the price (Dana reports that they practically sell themselves), and is chance for us to contribute and be of service to our Children’s Fund and our community!

Just a note to say THANK YOU to Mr. Hossein Shari for doing the clean up for us on Sundays and closing down the facility at the end of Sunday services.

Hossein has been helping with this particular job since summer time in 2009.  He has a most wonderful attitude.  He does not hesitate in getting the job done and helping out as much as he can.

We are very lucky to have him as part of our Community.  We have much gratitude for his presence in our facility.  THANK YOU HOSSEIN!!
